I can remember your face. Background music was DJ KRUSH
I write this memory... it must be a hush?

I tried to show how I was wise
I used to say "our lives must be like fireflies"
I wished I could get any great, valuable prize
Now it's a good memory... My dog cries

I was just an idiot. What should I talk about?
I'm just a romanticist who like Prefab Sprout
In your mind, you must think "you should get out!"

Now I can feel we have walked so far
But I still adore Sylvia Plath as my star
Even though my writings are different from "The Bell Jar"

カレッジ・デイズ

「ぼくたちはゴールドラッシュの後を生きている」
こう言ったらきみは顔を真っ赤にした
きみの顔を思い出せる。DJクラッシュが流れていた
この思い出をこうして書く……黙っているべきだろうか

ぼくは自分の賢さを見せびらかした
「ぼくたちはさながら蛍のように儚い」と言ったりして
優れた、価値ある賞を得たいと願ったものだ
今やそれはいい思い出……飼い犬が吠えている

ぼくはバカだった。何について話せばよかったのだろう？
ぼくはプリファブ・スプラウトが好きなロマンチシストだった
心の中ではきみはきっと「あっちに行け」と思ってたはず

ぼくたちは遠くまで歩いてきたと思う
でもぼくは未だにシルヴィア・プラスに憧れる
ぼくの書くものは『ベル・ジャー』とは違うというのに
