Mind The Gap 1

One of my female friends recommended me to read Gregory Khezrnejat's novel "Kaikonchi". That's the reason why I learned about him. Khezrnejat is an American and he started writing his stuffs by using Japanese (it is not his mother tongue). Of course, this can be achieved by truly great efforts and keen senses of him. I am interested in such a great courage.

In his debut novel "Kamogawa runner", the main character met the language Japanese by chance. He started studying it, and having an increasing emotion which made him adore of Japan. He even went to Japan actually. And he had to face the severe wall between this society and he. The pressure and stress from the exclusive atmosphere of Japanese societies.

The most interesting part I have read in this novel was this part. The main character bought "genkou youshi" at the stationery corner. I remember the last time I had written various things onto that kind of paper. I want to let the junks of my misunderstanding other languages and more.

And now, I am writing my articles like this. Once I couldn't write anything. The words themselves and the things those words can describe? For example, I want to use ぼく because I want to describe myself, That shows an important lesson.

But, why I write "I'm" then it can suggest me. Why the languages connect others when we use various languages and do the stuffs. Of course, we can tell these real world by quoting various expressions. But, I still ask someone to enjoy.

Now I am listening to a Japanese rock group Quluri's song "Mind The Gap". The gap between you and I, the world and I. I must see any different from others. Then, by paradoxical stance, he would say "You're just an idiot".
