A famous star says tomorrow is another day
If I were a teenager, it would sound dismay
Cause I even thought why today is today. "Hey!
That kind of banal thing is all the thing you can say?"

Now I feel that star's saying is cool and real
I think I can live toward tomorrow, and it will heal
Everyday I can enjoy its taste like a new meal
Living this hard life is quite a big deal

Oh my, once I wished I wouldn't be
But if I weren't, I couldn't enjoy everything I would see
Then all the things I see must have their esprit

Philosophy, culture... all of that mind source is here
And a collection of those sources are we're
I wanna tell this noticing to the Shakespeare

エスプリ

ある有名なスターが、明日は明日の風が吹くと言う
十代の頃だったら、そう聞いてがっかりしていただろう
ぼくはなぜ今日が今日なのかわからなかったから。「ねえ！
あなたって、そんな陳腐なことしか言えないんですか？」

今ぼくは、そのスターの言うことはカッコいいしリアルだとも思う
ぼくは明日に向かって生きられると思うし、それはぼくを癒す
できたての食事のように、生まれたての毎日の味を楽しめる
このつらい人生を生きることはほんとうに大したこと

ああ、昔はぼくは生まれてこなければよかったとも思った
でももし生まれなかったら、目にするものを楽しむこともできなかった
なら見るものすべてが、それぞれのエスプリに満ちている

哲学、文化……あらゆる心のソースがここにある
そしてそうしたソースの集まりがぼくたちなのだ
この気づきを、ぼくはシェイクスピアに伝えたい
