I'm Not a Poet. I'm a Poem Maker

I adored a hermit like a poet of the East
So I drank a lot of alcohol wildly as a beast
I used to fill a pool of beer in any summer at least
In the end, I slightly felt a certain pain at my breast

Now I've quit alcohol and started trying to let myself spark
Everything has changed... and I start enjoying Sonny Clark
Now it's Sunday afternoon, People might enjoy walking in the park
But I'll keep my attitude. With my pen and notebook I'm on my own mark

Once I had believed that everybody should rely on his or her talent
But now I trust my own efforts. I swear this policy on the Testament
I'm never a genius so this bedroom's like Dylan's basement

What kind of thing will come as an idea from the air?
That idea will lead me to any great place or just nowhere?
All I want to try is just to share it as a great freeware

東洋に住むという世捨て人に憧れていた
だからケダモノのように酒を浴びて自暴自棄に生きた
たぶんひと夏かけてプールを満杯にするほどビールを呑み
結局胸のあたりが痛くなり始めて、それだけで終わった

そんな酒を断って、それから創作に手を染めた
すべてが変わり始め、ぼくはソニー・クラークのジャズを聞く
今は日曜の午後、みんな公園の散策に耽る
でもぼくはぼくだ。ノートとペンを携えその時を待つ

才覚だけが頼りと思っていた頃もあった
でも今は努力を信じる。なんなら聖書にだって誓う
天才じゃないぼくにとって、この部屋はさながらボブ・ディランのスタジオ

どんな詩のアイデアをキャッチできるんだろう？
どこかに行けるだろうか、それとも空振りだろうか
試したいことはただ、フリーウェアのように詩をシェアすること
